THE REFRACTORS
Things grow in the most unexpected of places. Ten years ago, Joseph and Kayline
first started working together with developmentally disabled kids and adults,
and soon after began collaborating on sound and film. With the belief that
nature prevails, they allowed thier music to develop out of improvisation,
like allowing gardens to take form. Living in the mists of Pacifica, California,
their convenient seclusion allows them to create surreal environments with
an eclectic collection of instruments and field recordings. They continue
to score their award-winning short films as Lucid Cine. |
